This multistory complex consists of a large prayer hall (Masjid), a weekend school and a gymnasium. The complex is supported by a basement level that includes underground parking and services.
The Masjid is on the street level. Accessible directly from the street or via elevators from the underground parking. Both points of entry are carefully situated as a means to guide visitors to go through the Wodou’ area before entering the Masjid. A buffer zone is provided between wet and dry areas.
Separate entrances are provided for the schools (Madrasa) on the upper levels (2nd floor for girls and 3rd floor for boys). Both floors overlook an open Gymnasium covered by a light roof structure. The complexity of the structure is a successful reflection of the program.
